STATE OF THE NATION: PROTEST OR CHAOS
The situation of things currently happening in Nigeria is an eyesore and a menace that needed to be curbed as soon as possible. The recent government monetary policy is an action covered in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999) likewise the PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION also known as PROTEST is another aspect covered under the section 45(1), section 40 of the 1999 amended Constitution which states “Every person shall be entitled to assemble freely and associate with other persons, and in particular he may form or belong to any political party, trade union or any other association”. The current trend of mayhem, arson and anarchy resulting from the effect of government order is not something to be overlooked.
