THE EXTORTIONIST; A CALL TO TRUE SERVICE

 

A THIRD MAN NARRATIVE ON THE CORRUPTION AND INHUMANE ACT PERPETRATED BY HIGHER AUTHORITIES

It is no longer a secret and news that the feelings and voice of Nigerians are been trampled upon by higher authorities. Nigeria is our  father's land and we pledge to be faithful, loyal and honest to it with all our heart but that doesn't mean we should be mediocre in life.

Beliefs and mentality changes with dispensation but it is disheartening that the disposition  and standard of authority hasn't move an iota from it's point of inclination.

The Government i.e the Executives, Legislators and Judiciary are the new slave masters selling our right and voices right before us and they also make a fool of us by coming every four (4) years with another sweet mouth to con us while we wallow in pain and dejection. 

The authorities are public servant that are appointed to serve the masses but reverse is the case in my own country for the masses are the ones serving the public servants with their resources, time and strength while the public servants in higher authorities earn the material and honorary rewards. A country run democratically yet, human right only exist in a compendium called Constitution but it is not for the usage of the general public. 

The people's kind gesture should be reciprocated by this higher authorities because the masses gave them the mantra and baton of leadership so why is the baton of leadership now the cane of suffering?, it saddens the heart that those in powers are demigod that needs to be reverence and worshipped in my country.

Why has thou turned thyself into a thorn in the flesh of the masses after covering their demon with the skin of a sheep?, did you just do that to attain power and to inflict pain on your people?, or are you just inhumane?.

Brutality by judiciary arms increases daily while corruption by executive is like the sun of the day, the legislative manipulation for self benefit is like the roaring of the sea visible to the blind and audible to the deaf.

The masses are slave working to enrich thy own pocket but you've forgotten the word of the Lord Almighty that says the sweat of the labourer must not go in vain. Bills are passed without considering the masses, the law has been served a suspension notice while their conscience has been turned to Mount Everest that can not be moved.

The peoples' life are  been taken by those meant to protect them, the law keepers are now the one sabotaging the law, maiming and destroying public properties. 

Medical practitioners are meant to safe lifes but their pocket and family is the first thing that comes to their mind once a patient is been brought in, all sectors of the system is faulty and it's stench covers the whole nation. 

I stand to be corrected that the higher authorities are the real extortionist for they come into power with little or  nothing but after appending a few signatures, their net worth is not something the public can know.

Who is the extortionist if not you and I. Who is the bigger con if not the higher authorities, why don't we all purge ourselves and think of others first then we will see that the country will change.

HELPLESS NOT HOPELESS

It was a rainy, thunderous night in the village of Kumolu, a village surrounded by hills. The villagers of Kumolu are known for their beautiful weaving skills and farming. The villagers lived harmoniously in peace, but that doesn’t negate the “bad eggs” among them, either.
